Packing post two
Jan. 8th, 2012 01:58 amI have no idea what all to pack and what not to pack. Man. There's just so much stuff, and so much that I need to get rid of, and so much that I don't know if I should keep or not.
I cleared out my second bookcase today, and thus I have another box of books filled and a bunch of books added to my "going away" pile. I have three and a half bookcases to go through still. This is ridiculous. How did I get so many books?
I went through all my CDs, too. I have a decent stack of ones I'm getting rid of, and so they're packed now too along with my Ghost in the Shell DVDs.
I need to pack things from my kitchen, but I have no idea what I might use. I can get rid of one of my woks, but do I get rid of the stovetop one or the electric? I can't pack my mandolin because it's too useful... I could pack my blender but when's the last time I've even used it? I used to have a handy one that doubled as a food-processor thing, but my parents borrowed and broke it and replaced it with this, which is... a decent blender.
It's just... so much to do. I also need to weigh the current boxes I've got packed so I have an idea about where I am, weight-wise. I worry that I'm getting close with all the books, but I don't know what to do there.
